Boobydoo specialise in sports bras (‘Supporting the active woman’). Following the recent acquisition of the company we were approached to help revise their email marketing strategy and increase sales, giving us a real opportunity to demonstrate our expertise in data-driven email marketing.
The first step was to understand their data and then build a front end for their database to allow Boobydoo to target their customers more specifically by understanding dates ordered, order values, product, size, brand, impact levels or colour preferences. Having exported their database in SQL, we developed an easy-to-use reporting GUI to interrogate the data, and then set about identifying the opportunity with their audience.
Our next priority was to develop compelling and engaging emails that would present either specific offers, discounts, single or multi-product skews. A range of templates were created to allow us to build and despatch new campaigns very quickly in response to market demands
Through January, February and March we have managed 12 campaigns with an average open rate of 14.71% leading to click through rates of 33.5% (highest at 47.96%) with their success leading to comments from Boobydoo such as “the most effective marketing campaign we have ever run” and “the best uplift in sales we have ever seen”. The campaigns have led to an overall increase in sales between 15 and 30% over the period.
